Dolphin Dash Update
Great job at the Dolphin Dash! We have raised over $11,000 so far and you can continue to collect donations until Intrasquad! Thanks to all of our Dolphins sponsors for their support and huge appreciation to Pledgestar for supporting our team every year and waiving their fees to maximize our fundraising. Fun fact: This amazing local company (and Dolphins alumni) is the cornerstone of fundraising for many schools and organizations in our community!
Coaches Corner - A few reminders from Coach Bryan!
- All swimmers need to have their fins daily. And don't forget to put your name on all your equipment! We have a Sharpie in the coach office if you need it.
- If your child has long hair they should try to wear a swim cap during practice. It can really help our kids learn the proper breathing techniques that allow them to swim with more efficiency and speed.
- This week, Jr. Dolphins and Red group will be focusing on Butterfly. White, Blue and Senior will be cycling through all four strokes and hitting on kicking, drilling, skills and racing.
- Thank you to all the parents for keeping me in the loop regarding your time away from the pool. Remember, if your child is sick or cannot be at practice for a period of time longer than a few days, please let me know.
We need help on and off the pool deck! We need a DJ for our home meets! The DJ brings the fun to the pool deck, keeps the meet moving and has the best seat in the house! If you have a laptop, great (clean) music and a smooth set of pipes, we’ve got the rest (speakers, mic, etc.)! Let us know if you can help fill this important job.
We have board and committee positions that need to be filled! Serving on the board fulfills your volunteer requirement for the season (translation - you can spend the meets cheering!). We have lots of opportunities including Vice President, social media/website communications, and more! If you are interested in helping with social media THIS SEASON please let me know! I no longer have swimmers on the team and could use some help with pictures during meets and events.
Check the website often for new events so you don't miss a thing!
